Structure fire in Dewey Beach under investigation

DEWEY BEACH, Del. – Delaware State Fire Marshals are investigating a fire in the Dewey Beach area.

The fire was reported at around 2:30 p.m., in the unit block of Carolina Street. Firefighters from the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company and mutual aid fire companies are currently at the scene battling the blaze.

There were no reported injuries. The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause, and there’s currently no word on the extent of damages.
