Ryan McLaughlin tosses no-hitter against the Clippers

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md.– The Decatur Seahawks defeated the Bennett Clippers in a final score of 6-0 on Thursday afternoon.

Decatur would get on the scoreboard first as Ryan McLaughlin would knock one into right-center field for an RBI single to make it 1-0. The Seahawks would tack on some more runs in the bottom 3rd to make the score 4-0. Ryan McLaughlin was on the mound for the Seahawks and he would retire the side 3 up 3 down through 6 and a half innings.

Lukas Loring was huge for the Seahawks in the batters-box driving in 3 runs. Ryan McLaughlin would finish the game with 67 total pitches, 8 strikeouts, and zero walks to complete the no-hitter.

Decatur remains undefeated on the season and takes on WiHi Monday, March 27th.
