Rehoboth Beach home damaged by fire Tuesday morning
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – A Rehoboth Beach home was heavily damaged by a fire Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported shortly after 10 a.m. in the 100 block of Cornwall Road. The home was occupied at the time of the fire, and all occupants were able to escape without injury.
Delaware State Fire investigators responded to the scene and were able to determine that the fire was accidental in nature, caused by discarded smoking materials. There were no reported injuries.
Total damage has been estimated at $250,000.
