Mayor’s Awards for Valor announced

SALISBURY, Md. – Congratulations are in order for the City of Salisbury’s Wastewater Treatment Plant Mechanics Alphonso Henry and Carlos Ortiz.

They’re being honored with the Mayor’s Award for Valor. Back in February, Carlos and Alphonso used their city utility truck to block traffic following a serious car crash, in addition to using their emergency lights to alert other drivers of the hazard ahead.
