DSP investigating fatal crash in Hartly

HARTLY, Del. – Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Marydel man Friday night.

Just before 9 p.m., police say a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on Bryants Corner Road, south of Pine Tree Road. The driver reportedly failed to negotiate a curve and veered off the roadway, hitting a wooden post next to a private driveway. The car then spun back onto Bryants Corner Road and came to a stop partially off the road.

The driver of the Rodeo, identified as 22-year-old Denigres Domingo-Domingo, was not wearing his seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
