Dover man arrested on drug and weapons charges

DOVER, Del. – A Dover man is behind bars on multiple drug and weapons charges.

The investigation began just after noon, when members of the Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit learned that a suspect wanted on drug charges was in a room at the Capital Inn. Officers obtained and executed a search warrant on the room, locating the suspect, 51-year-old Keith Landry. Landry was taken into custody, and a search of the room led to the recovery of a loaded .38 special revolver, 10 amphetamine pills, 28 bags of heroin, 2.7 grams of crack cocaine, and 4.7 grams of cocaine.

Landry was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited, five counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held at SCI on a $41,500 secured bond.
