Delmar dominates the Seahawks in season opener

BERLIN, Md.– Delmar defeated Decatur in a final score of 9-2 on Tuesday afternoon.

Delmar would be the ones to get on the scoreboard first as they would get one run in off of an error by the Seahawks. Jordyn Hollamon would get the next run for the Wildcats by hitting one into left field for a stand up RBI triple.

Decatur would tie it up at 2-2 in the bottom of the 4th but that is as good as it would get. The Wildcats would open it up in the top of the 5th to take a 7-2 lead. Decatur would not be able to get anything going after that as Delmar would control the rest of the contest.
