CAROLINE CO., Md. – A Cambridge man is behind bars after he reportedly threatened two judges via social media.

The investigation began on Monday when the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office learned of threats that were made against two judges presiding over the Caroline County Circuit Court. During the course of the investigation, it was learned that Larry Zeigler had posted live-streamed videos to his social media page on Facebook, threatening the lives of the Circuit Court judges because he was dissatisfied with a child custody case before the court.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Zeigler, charging him with four counts of threatening a state official. Zeigler was taken into custody on Tuesday at a residence in Cambridge and was held at the Caroline County Detention Center without bond.
