Body found in Laurel area, police investigating

LAUREL, Del. – A death investigation is underway in Laurel after a body was found near 6th Street.

Details are limited at this time. A fisherman reported a body in the water in the 1100 block Sunday night, according to the Laurel Fire Department.

DNREC and Delaware State Police are investigating.
