Operating hours at City Hall in OC to be modified this spring

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City officials say hours at City Hall will be reduced starting this spring.

The Mayor and City Council voted on Tuesday to modify the operating hours beginning April 3, 2023. The current hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., will be reduced to 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“With electronic bill pay and online accessibility for permitting and other city services, the need for City Hall to remain open until 5 p.m. has changed,” said City Manager Terry McGean. “We are confident that we can offer our residents and visitors the same high level of service with a 30-minute reduction in our operating hours.”
