One injured in Dover shooting, police investigating

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that left one injured Monday afternoon.

Shortly before 4 p.m., officers responded to the unit block of Village Drive, meeting with a 23-year-old male victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. The victim was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are working to obtain a suspect description. No further information is available at this time.
