Man convicted of sexually abusing minor child in 2016
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man has been convicted of sexually abusing a minor.
Following a two-day trial, a judge convicted 38-year-old Kenny Vansant on Tuesday of sex abuse of a minor, second degree sex offense, and related offenses.
We’re told during the summer of 2016, Vansant sexually abused an 8-year-old child.
Sentencing was deferred pending a mandatory pre-sentence investigation and mental health assessment. Vansant will remain in custody pending sentencing.
