Free Housing Assistant Clinic
SALISBURY, Md – A local housing counselor is looking to help homeowners with a free clinic on February 23rd.
Natasha Donoway with the Telamon Corporation is looking to provide homeowners with essential information on the foreclosure process and how to apply for the Maryland homeowner’s assistant program.
This program Donoway says holds 248 million dollars in funds for more Marylanders to take advantage of.
Donoway said, “To date, they [the program] has only approved and paid out 87.4 million. So the money is out there, and I don’t know if people know it or how to access it.”
Those who want to be part of the clinic should know, “It won’t cost anyone anything they just have to gather some documents and spend about an hour with me and we’ll hit the ground running and see what we can do to save houses.” Donoway said.
To attend the clinic, call or text Donoway at 443-366-3594 or email her at ndonoway@telamon.org. The Clinic will be held on February 23rd from 10 am to 1 pm and the deadline to sign-up is February 22nd.
