Dover bank robbery under investigation

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a robbery at the Shore United Bank.

Just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the business and met with the victim, learning that a man had entered the business and demanded money. The victim reportedly believed that the suspect was in possession of a weapon, so they complied and turned over an unknown amount of money. The suspect then fled the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6’0″, wearing dark clothing.
