Delmar Elementary teacher honored as February Teacher Who Makes A Difference

DELMAR, Del. – Congratulations to our February Teacher Who Makes A Difference, Terry Johnson.

After years of working closely with Delmar Elementary, Mrs. Johnson made the career change to become a teacher. This is her first year teaching and is currently teaching first grade.

If you’re looking to get more involved with a local school or want to become a teacher, Mrs. Johnson has just one thing to say.

“Do it. Go to a classroom and volunteer. We definitely need more volunteers. You’ll be able to see what’s going on in the classroom and what’s involved in it.”

The Teacher Who Makes A Difference Award is brought to you in part by Pam Price and Associates. Pam and her associate Alyssa helped us surprise the teacher with lots of fun goodies, flowers, and a certificate.
