Delaware Farm Bureau now accepting applications for summer internship program

DELAWARE – The Delaware Farm Bureau is looking for students interested in marketing and agriculture for their 2023 summer internship program.

Since 2020, the marketing internship program has allowed students to learn about a variety of farming practices. They’ve also gained real world experience with producing social media content and other marketing materials for the organization.

The foundation internship was introduced back in 2022.

We’re told that several students have gone on to land jobs or additional internship opportunities after completing the program.

The farm bureau tells us the extra manpower has also allowed them to increase their brand awareness. “Really them helping us get that branding out there and letting people know just what we do and what our organization is for. As well as constantly letting our members know what we’re doing,” Program & Foundation Coordinator Kali Voshell said.

“As they keep seeing the interest in it here and they see it’s helping us move forward, we’re told we’re good to keep this program going.”

Applications are open now with a deadline for submissions being March 31st.
