Chandler lifts the Seahawks to regional finals
BERLIN, Md.– Davin Chandler and the Decatur Seahawks punched their ticket to the regional finals after defeating Oxon Hill 60-53 on Tuesday night.
The Seahawks never trailed in this matchup as they controlled the tempo from the opening jump ball. Patient offense was the name of the game for Decatur as they patiently ran their offense to find key buckets down low.
Chandler led the Seahawks in the first half with 12 points. Decatur went into the half with a 34-28 lead over Oxon Hill.
Oxon Hill did not have an answer for Chandler as he dropped 14 points in the second half. Chandler finished with a 26 point game as he lead the Seahawks in scoring.
Decatur moves on to the regional final and will take on the North East Eagles on Thursday.
