One killed in Salisbury crash, police investigating

SALISBURY, Md. – Police are continuing to investigate a crash that claimed the life of one Tuesday morning in Salisbury.

Just after 6:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of Route 50 and West Isabella Street for a reported crash with injuries. Officers arrived on scene and immediately began rendering aid to the occupants while waiting for the arrival of Salisbury Fire and EMS.

The initial investigation revealed that a 2019 GMC Sierra was traveling northbound on Nanticoke Road and proceeded through the intersection, crossing over Route 50. As the GMC passed through the intersection it collided with two other vehicles, a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse and a 2022 Dodge Charger.

The driver of the Sierra was identified as 58-year-old Robert Lee Noble of Quantico. He was taken to TidalHealth where he was later pronounced dead. The occupants of the other vehicles were also taken to TidalHealth for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Due to the serious nature of the crash, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team responded to help with the investigation. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact Cpl. Foy of the Salisbury Police Department at 410-548-3165.
