Prison

Baltimore, MD- A US District court Judge sentenced Andre Ricardo Briscoe, age 39, of Baltimore and Cambridge, to life in federal prison for federal distribution of drug charges, use of a firearm to commit murder in relation of drug trafficking crimes, and killing a witness to prevent communication with law enforcement, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

In May of 2015 Briscoe travelled from his home in Cambridge to the home of his co-defendant Kiara Haynes where he told her that he planned to steal heroin from Jennifer Jeffrey, a long time friend of Haynes.

Briscoe planned to rob and kill Jeffrey for her drugs, and Haynes assisted in acquiring a gun for the crime by acquiring the gun from a relative who was at the time incarcerated, in exchange for a portion of the heroin.

Haynes used the gun to rob and kill Jeffrey and killed her child as well who was home.

For her involvement Kiara Haynes received 25 years in federal prison.
