1280 Torrey Brittingham

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man has been sentenced to 50 years behind bars for his role in a 2020 fatal shooting.

Torrey Brittingham was convicted back in May of two counts of first degree assault, two counts of second degree assault, and two counts of reckless endangerment.

On the night of April 17, 2020, Brittingham directed his three co-conspirators to ambush the victims as they sat in their vehicle at the Merrifield Apartments in Salisbury. During the attack, evidence showed that at least 16 rounds were fired into the victims’ car, killing the driver, Dondre Wilson, and injuring a second occupant.

Brittingham’s sentence is the maximum possible sentence for his crime.
