Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico Co. announces purchase of new HQ

FRUITLAND, Md. – Habitat for Humanity has purchased a new property for its headquarters.

We’re told the 8,200 square foot office/warehouse property is located at 105 N. Dulany Avenue in Fruitland.

Habitat for Humanity’s offices are currently located on Isabella Street next to the Restore. They say they plan to move the offices to Fruitland and utilize the warehouse for retail inventory storage. The property will undergo renovations in the coming months, and Habitat is also looking into potential mural options to extend local art efforts into the Fruitland area and bring new life to an older building.

The bonus is that the warehouse space will ultimately become a second ReStore Thrift shop which will expand our capacity to fund more affordable home ownership projects in Wicomico County as well.” said Molly Hilligoss, M.B.A., Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County.
