Talbot Co. woman arrested on child abuse charges

TRAPPE, Md. – A Talbot County woman has been charged in connection to a child abuse investigation.

In October 2022, detectives with the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into physical child abuse that had taken place at a Trappe residence. The investigation revealed that 58-year-old Robin Watson had physically assaulted a juvenile on two different occasions, causing physical injuries to the victim. An arrest warrant was obtained for Watson, who was arrested on October 28th without incident.

Watson was charged with first degree child abuse, two counts of second degree child abuse, two counts each of first and second degree assault, and two counts of reckless endangerment. She was held without bond pending a bail review in Talbot County District Court.
