Pocomoke punches their ticket to the state championship

GLEN BURNIE, Md.– Pocomoke defeated Patuxent in the state semi finals a final score of 5-0 on Thursday night.

Pocomoke would jump out to an early 1-0 lead after an impressive goal from Marli McDorman. Dakota Trader would make it 2-0 almost immediately after McDormans goal. Trader would get another goal before halftime off an assist from McDorman to make it 3-0.

McDorman would score her second goal of the night in the second half off of a penalty shot. Aubrey Jackson-Bowen would put the final nail in the coffin late in the 4th to make it 5-0 to send her team to the state championship.
