Smyrna Eagles capture Henlopen championship

GREENWOOD, Del.– Smyrna defeated Indian River in a final score of 3 sets to 1.

Smyrna would jump out to an early 1-0 by taking the first set 25-15. IR would tie it up by winning the 2nd set in a close 25-20 game. Smyrna would pull ahead by winning the 3rd set and then taking the 4th set 25-16 to capture the Henlopen Championship.

Smyrna finished the season with an impressive 14-1 record.
