Local restaurant celebrates one-year anniversary, looks to expand with food truck fundraiser
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury restaurant that prides itself on making love the secret ingredient of its recipes has made it to its one year anniversary.
Take Your Pick allows you to do just that, take your pick at some of its many offerings that include soul food dishes to Jamaican cuisine.
We caught up with Chef Shy who says now its time to expand their footprint on Delmarva, as she’s looking to take her recipes on the road with a food truck.
The fundraiser for the food truck in now underway and Chef Shy says the community support will help make this dream a reality. “It was always apart of the plan. I always had it in mind that once we open we’re going to have to get a food truck. I feel like everything’s in Gods plan,” Owner Chef Shiesha Blake said.
“It’s not just for take your pick, but it’s for our community. We want them to experience the love in the food that comes out this restaurant,” Chef Shy’s Mother Dana Williams said.
Chef Shy thanks the support of family, friends, and the growing fans in the community for her success.
