Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Cost of care

47ABC – As we continue to highlight breast cancer awareness month, we spoke with an expert and doctor about the cost of care patients face. And after a recent study into just how much it costs to battle cancer Dr. Marisa Weiss is sharing tips on how they can manage some of those costs.

Dr. Weiss also tells me there are other grants cancer patients and their families can apply for such as accommodations for ride share or other means of transportation or even grants to cover the cost of child care.
