Beebe Medical Foundation launches new campaign, focus on expanding access to care

DELAWARE – Beebe Medical Foundation’s new campaign looks to expand the offerings of the healthcare system to support the growing need for services in Delaware.

It’s called the Sussex Supports Beebe Healthcare campaign, with a target goal of raising $22.5 million dollars over a five-year time span.

The goal is to bolster the pipeline of future health professionals, increase access to care, and expand women’s breast and wellness programming.

The foundation’s President tells us it will allow Beebe to extend its reach. “And providing those things that you see in a bigger city where folks can literally drive an hour or so and get those services in Baltimore or Philadelphia. We’re really focusing on trying to be a really great local community healthcare system,” Thomas J. Protack said.

We’re told there’s also a focus on growing the cardiovascular and neurological services offered.
