3rd annual Bags, Booze, & Boobs event to take place, supporting DE Breast Cancer Coalition
GEORGETOWN, Del. – Saturday, October 22nd at the Stockley Tavern in Georgetown, the highly anticipated 3rd annual Bags, Booze, and Boobs event will take place, with the same goal to support the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
The event includes a corn hole tournament, a guest bartender competition, 50/50 raffles, a live auction, music, food, and much more. “So we have the layout we have improved, we’ve got extra tents being set up, the great outdoors, we have the outdoor bar connected to a huge area with tables and such, it’s going to be a lot of fun,” says Meghan Fitzgerald, Marketing Director for Joseph Family of Companies.
Each year, the event has raised a significant amount of money for the breast cancer coalition. “The first year they raised $20,000 and last year, they raised $110,000. Now organizers of the event tell 47 ABC, they’ve set the bar high for themselves, and are hoping this year brings, even more, smiles, fun, and money for a good cause. “I know women need transportation, they need wigs, they are going through something personally I just can’t even fathom. But, I’m very grateful if I had to go through that, I’m glad that there is an organization that I know would help support me,” says Fitzgerald.
They will have 11 different bartenders for the competition, and if you want to register for the corn hole tournament, you can do so by visiting stockleytavern.com
