Indian River takes down CR in overtime thriller

CAMDEN, Del.– Indian River defeated Caesar Rodney in overtime in a final score of 1-0 on Tuesday night.

Indian River and Caesar Rodney both took multiple shots on goal in the first half but none would find the back of the net. IR’s goalie Kai Kelley and CR’s goalie Jacoby Sheaffer both had multiple saves in both halves to keep their teams in the game.

4 mins into OT and Jordan Illian for IR was in the corner and curved his shot into the goal for the win. Indian River improves to 4-0-1 on the season and moves to take on Delmar on Thursday.
