DSP investigating attempted murder at convenience store
GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating an attempted murder at a local Royal Farms.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday, officers with the Georgetown Police Department responded to the Royal Farms at 20579 DuPont Boulevard for a reported assault. Further investigation revealed that the victim, a 38-year-old Georgetown man, was assaulted by an unknown man with a baseball bat inside the convenience store.
The victim sustained serious injures and remains at an area hospital in critical condition.
