UPDATE: Bomb threat investigation underway at Somerset Intermediate School
10:30 a.m. UPDATE: School officials say law enforcement has found the school to be safe and cleared for re-entry.
Students are being transported back to Somerset Intermediate to resume a normal school day. Parents who picked up their student may return their student to finish out the day, or just return to pick up any belongings left behind.

SOMERSET CO., Md. – 47 ABC has learned of a bomb threat at Somerset Intermediate School.
Somerset County Public Schools officials say students have been safely evacuated to Somerset County Technical High School, and law enforcement is at the school conducting a search at this time. Parents wishing to pick up their students at the Technical High School may do so, but are advised that there may be a wait time as all students must be accounted for and released to a verified parent or guardian for pickup. Parents should bring their IDs.
Those who cannot pick up their student(s) at this time should wait for further information as transportation arrangements are being made.
