Shed fire at Chesapeake Shipbuilding ruled accidental

SALISBURY, Md. – A fire at Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Salisbury Tuesday morning has been ruled accidental.

The storage shed fire was reported shortly before 10 a.m. by employees. Firefighters responded and were able to control the fire in approximately 15 minutes.

The fire was caused by the failure of an electric power tool. Total damage has been estimated at $6,000. No injuries were reported.
