Raffle fundraiser supports Seaford man battling stage 4 brain cancer

SEAFORD, Del. – In Seaford, a raffle is now underway in support of a Seaford man battling Glioblastoma Stage 4 brain cancer.

Garrett Anderson started experiencing serious headaches back in April, which soon after lead to his diagnosis.

In July, he underwent surgery to have a brain tumor removed.

Fundraising efforts look to support him, his two daughters, and fiancé on his road to recovery to help with medical bills and other expenses.

We spoke to his fiancé, Jessica Tims, who tells us any support whether big or small will go a long way. “We just have to keep the faith and stay positive and do all we can for each other to keep up the good thoughts and enjoy the brighter days,” Tims said.

“I just would appreciate it, just so we can get help and hopefully help out somebody else.”

There are two raffle prizes that include gift card bundles to local eateries and shops.
