OP Board of Directors election results validated

OCEAN PINES, Md. – Three new members have officially joined the Ocean Pines Board of Directors.

The voting results were announced and validated at Saturday’s Annual Meeting. The new Board members are Steve Jacobs, Stuart Lakernick, and Monica Rakowski.

The full voting results were:

• Steve Jacobs: 1867
• Stuart Lakernick: 1802
• Monica Rakowski: 1603
• Amy Peck: 1451
• Josette Wheatley: 1303
• Paula Gray” 1027

We’re told the committee spent six hours “opening ballots and trying to make sure every ballot counted”.
