GMD: Clothing-brand owner creates 100% sustainable clothing line

GOOD MORNING DELMARVA – 47 ABC got to meet a woman whose motherhood and passion for addressing climate change have created a 100% sustainable children’s clothing company, a company that’s making leaps and bounds in the sustainable industry. It’s called Mon Coeur it’s a French term that means my heart, and it was founded by Louise Ulukaya.

Ulukaya tells us she hopes to grow their clothing line to include other items and even branch out into children’s bath items.

They also partnered with 5Gyres Institute which started a ‘trash blitz’ which gathers communities in all parts of the country and aims to clean plastic from coasts, and 1% For the Planet, a global network of businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations which work on tackling the planet’s most pressing environmental issues.
