Bayside Football Preview: Queen Anne’s Lions

CENTREVILLE, Md. – Queen Anne’s football proved to be one of the most formidable in the Bayside in 2021. Their journey ended with a playoff blowout against Decatur, but they return this summer with one goal in mind.

“We have one goal, and that’s to win a state championship,” head coach Al Waters declared.

Waters isn’t the only one who wants to forget about their 42-6 playoff loss at Decatur last fall.

Senior running back KJ Smothers Jr. says the mistakes they made last season won’t happen again.
