6-year-old girl hit in jet ski accident, US Coast Guard called to assist

Long Neck, De. – A 6-year-old girl was hit by a jet ski Tuesday.

The United States Coast Guard was called, after being alerted of the incident.

The USCG arrived to the area of 36624 Long Neck Road and recovered the child and an adult.

The two were safely taken to shore, where they were handed off to emergency medical services and transported to a nearby hospital.

At this time, no information has been released on the status of the child.
