Seacrets Restaurant and Bar opening in Chincoteague
CHINCOTEAGUE, Va.- The owner of Ocean City’s Seacrets, Leighton Moore, is expanding his horizons. He’s opening up a new establishment in Chincoteague.
Moore said the new spot is on the bayside at the southwest end of the island. The land was bought on July 20th.
We’re told that while he’s expanding it will be in a smaller way. The restaurant and bar will be low-key, simple, and a fun place with a limited scope of entertainment. It will feature a palm tree jungle the Ocean City landmark is known for and will be modeled off the original Seacrets of 1988, including a small tiki bar, rock bar, raw bar, and boutique. Moore said he’s excited about this new adventure and can’t wait to be a part of the community.
“It’s a small town, we’re not trying to impinge or infringe, we are trying to blend in and be just another attraction, not the attraction but another attraction,” Moore said. “Chincoteague is a beautiful area, great, friendly people and things to do and we just want to be one of them.”
Moore said he hopes to be open in either 2024 or 2025.
