Ocean Pines Board election ballots mailed

OCEAN PINES, Md. – Paper ballots have been mailed for the 2022 Ocean Pines Board of Directors election.

Paper ballots may be returned either by mail or to the 24-hour drop box in the Ocean Pines Police Department lobby and must be returned by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10th. Paper ballots received late or not sealed in the provided envelope will not be counted.

The Ocean Pines website has a dedicated election section, including biographical and contact information for each candidate, links to videos of candidate forums, and key upcoming dates in the election process.

Important upcoming election dates include:

• Wednesday, August 10th – Ballot deadline
• Thursday, August 11th – Ballots counted and totals announced at 10 a.m. in the Clubhouse Meeting Room
• Saturday, August 13th – Election results validated (if there is a quorum) during the Annual Meeting of Membership at 9 a.m. in the Assateague Room at the Ocean Pines Community Center
