Delaware State Fair returns in one week, many promotions to save money
HARRINGTON, Del. – We’re just one week away from the 103rd installment of the Delaware State Fair.
We checked in with officials who say they’re excited to get back into the swing of tradition
and this year attendees will get more of the full experience than the last two years.
As you enter the fair grounds you can expect the same great food, an array of live entertainment, and animal attractions.
As you’re getting prepared for all the action, officials want to remind you of ways to save some money.
“We got Armed Forces Day, Food Lion Hunger Relief, Seniors Day, and a Kid’s Day. So many great promotions set up so folks can save a few dollars during this difficult time,” Delaware State Fair Marketing Director Danny Aguilar.
“If you do like riding rides, we encourage folks to purchase their unlimited ride wristbands now and they can save $10 before the fair begins. ”
Due to the impact and rising concerns of the bird influenza, officials have paused all bird and poultry exhibits.
The first day of the fair will be next Thursday, July 21st and of course we will be there broadcasting our evening news live all 10 days from the Exhibit Hall.
So stop by, say hi, and then stay to play our version of family feud!
