WiHi’s CTE Interactive Media Program to host digital art exhibit, provides students professional experience

SALISBURY, Md. – This week, Wicomico County High School’s CTE Interactive Media Program will host it’s first ever open house and digital art exhibit.

Interactive Media involves students working with a variety of Adobe products like Photoshop and In-design, doing everything from video editing to graphic design.

The event will allow students to connect with field professionals and give them the opportunity to sell their work.

Faculty say this is a great way to end the academic year and celebrate everything they’ve accomplished. “A lot of these kids have a really amazing talent. I see them going very, very far with what they do,” Program Instructor Maria Cook said.

“So if we can start them out now actually realizing the value of what they do, then I think it’s really going to help in the future.”

That event will be this Thursday, June 9th from 4-8pm in WiHi’s Media Wing Hall.
