Millsboro man charged in homicide investigation

MILLSBORO, Del. – A Millsboro man has been charged with murder following a homicide investigation that began last week.

At around 5:40 p.m. on June 7th, troopers responded to the area of Long Neck Road and Banks Road for a report of a deceased person found on the property of the Baywood Golf Course. Further investigation revealed that the victim, later identified as 64-year-old Lewis Fetrow of Millsboro, had been stabbed several days prior.

Detectives were able to determine that 57-year-old Michael Klein was responsible for the victim’s death. Klein had been incarcerated at Sussex Correctional Institution on unrelated charges incurred after this homicide. On Thursday, an arrest warrant was drafted for Klein, charging him with first degree murder and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.

Klein remained held at SCI on a $1,060,000 cash bond.
