Maryland State Police searching for wanted burglary suspect in Somerset Co.
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Maryland State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection to a commercial burglary.
On Friday, May 13th, troopers from the Princess Anne Barrack were called to a convenience store in the 31000 block of Eden Allen Road for a reported burglary. Police believe the incident took place during the overnight hours while the business was closed. Further investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Austin Davidson, entered the store after firing rifle rounds through the front glass door. He then stole an unknown amount of cash and fled the business.
Police say Davidson is 5’10” and approximately 190 pounds. He is from Delmar, but we’re told he is known to frequent the Eden and Princess Anne areas. Davidson is considered armed and dangerous.
