Maryland State Police Arrest Man For Murder of Infant Son

Federalsburg, Md – Maryland State Police have arrested a man today on homicide charges in connection to the murder of his infant son.

Sean Casey Pierce of Baltimore is facing multiple charges in relation to the death of his two month old son, Chance Pierce.

According to the investigation officers from the Federalsburg Police department were called at approximately 4:45 pm on May 30th, 2022 to a camper on the block of Buena Vista Avenue in Federalsburg to assist with emergency medical personnel with a child patient.

Chance Pierce’s body was later transported to the office of the medical examiner in Delaware for autopsy, where it was ruled the death was a homicide.

Sean Pierce was arrested in Pennsylvania before being extradited back to Maryland.

He is being held without bond at the Caroline County Detention Center.
