Quantico home destroyed in late night fire

QUANTICO, Md. – An investigation is underway after a fire destroyed a Wicomico County home late Tuesday night.

We’re told the fire was reported at around 11 p.m., at 22268 Wetipquin Road in Quantico. Firefighters were able to control the blaze in about 45 minutes.

Maryland State Fire Marshals were called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation. Total damage has been estimated at $105,000.
