MSP recover homemade pipe bombs at Princess Anne home

SOMERSET Co., Md – The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed for 47ABC, that Maryland State Police recovered homemade pipe bombs in a home located at 11347 Stewart Neck Road.

Deputy State Fire Marshals were notified of the devices by the Maryland State Police, after they found them in the home during another matter.

It took bomb technicians several hours to make sure the devices were safe as well as clear the residence of any other explosive threat.

The person living in the home is in custody and faces numerous felony charges of manufacturing and possession of destructive devices.

There were no injuries during this.
