SALISBURY, Md. – An annual tradition is returning in Salisbury this week after being put on pause by the pandemic.

The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is happening Thursday morning. That is the national day of prayer, and so committee members want to bring people together in unity.

Don Hackett, one of the organizers of the breakfast, says that’s what the day is all about: bringing people together. There will be music from local students at the event, as well.

Hackett says after having the cancel the breakfast for the last two years because of Covid, he’s just excited to bring people from all religious backgrounds together.
