47ABC sits down with local doctor discussing new aspirin guidelines

47ABC – Guidelines on taking Aspirin, as a measure to prevent heart attacks have shifted. The recommendations coming from the United States Preventive Services Task Force now say aspirin is no longer recommended to prevent the 1st heart attack for most adults over the age of 60.

Dr. Christian Bounds, a cardiologist with TidalHealth, joined the Good Morning Delmarva team to explain more about the changes.
