Princess Anne seeking artists to help bring murals to Main Street District

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- The town of Princess Anne is looking to bring more art and entertainment to the area.

Princess Anne’s Town Manager, Clayton Anderson, said town commissioners and other community leaders are encouraging the town to be more inclusive and to become an arts and entertainment district. They also want to share the town’s rich history and culture that may not always been seen. So, to do that, they want to add murals to the town, which we are told will hopefully be a source of pride for residents.

“I want them to see that the town is changing and growing, taking a real interest in economic development and moving toward economic development, moving towards introducing the arts into the town,” Clayton Anderson, the Princess Anne Town Manager, said.

We’re told the goal is to attract local artists to display their talents, but other residents are welcomed to apply.
For more information, you can visit the the Town of Princess Anne Facebook page, the Main Street Princess Anne Facebook page, or email the Town Manager at canderson@princessannetownhall.org.
The deadline to apply April 22.
