Mandala Pies looking forward to opening a new location in Berlin

BERLIN, Md.- Folks in Berlin have something sweet to look forward too as new bakery is moving into town.

Mandala Pies is going into their third year at their location in Vienna, but the owner said it’s time to expand and that Berlin is the perfect spot.

The owner also said people in Berlin are encouraging them to set up shop, and that they’re excited to have a presence in the Berlin community.

“We found this property in Berlin and just wanted to jump on it because out of all the other communities that we have been a part of we just feel like such a strong pull and connection with Berlin, you know the people that live there and just like the environment,” Caitlin LaComb, the owner, of Mandala Pies, said.

They will be located at 15 Williams St. and are hoping to be running by Memorial Day.

LaComb said their operations in Vienna will continue.
